Hand cut Canadian Maple batonettes.
The exact same recipe as our 2 Gold Star - Great Taste Awards 2017 - Sweet Beaver Back Bacon just a different cut. Really lovely waxy and firm textured to get a proper bite out of it. They crisp up real nice too when fried in their own juices. They're sweet dry cured and lovingly bathed in real Canadian Maple syrup and brown sugars all locked in behind some incredible smmm...oakiness too. Everyone who's into carnal things loves our Sweet Beaver, oh yeah!
Cooking: Done in 90 seconds flat - high heat, frying pan, no oil, 60 seconds side one and 30 seconds side two is how we like it. Put on the extractor fan! Doesn't take long, seriously, this is a different beast than you may be used to - treat as you would a loved one.
Pairing: Love cooking? Well, experiment with this awesome baby. Do what you want with it but treat it nice and it will love you too. You can add it for chunkiness to anything - give it a shot on a fab salad stir in hot and pour some of the pan juices over the lettuce, fresh tomatoes. Rock it in a pancake.
